Univeral Plate Gimbal Mount - 15°

Big Jon Sports now has seven universal gimbal mounting bases that will accept any downrigger on the market. The universal gimbal mounts fit into the flush mount rod holders on your boat. They come in a variety of angles (some have the mounting plate offset to match the angle of the boat's gunwale).

All mounting plates and gimbal mounting bases are precision machined from 6061 T6 aluminum and given a protective anodized finish. The mounting plates are 1/2" x 5" x 6" and the gimbal tubes are 11 1/2" long x 1 1/2" outside diameter (1/8" wall thickness).
