M16/AR15 Cantilever mount for co-witnessing iron sights

Standard Carry Handle Mount #05-0060 fits into the handle channel and is located by its mounting surfaces and the front portion of the receiver. The rear portion of the mount and two gripping lugs in the middle provide a solid positive location and a self locking thumbscrew locks everything in place. The Mil Spec 1913 rail (Weaver Style) extends forward over the forearm and provides a low mounting surface that accepts many red dot and other sighting systems. The mounting rail is sufficiently low to allow the iron sights to be cowittnessed with the red dot of the optical sight. The standard model fits on most standard issue forearms.
